It’s important to maintain proper humidity levels in the van or any RV/trailer since mold growth can be a concern. I was introduced to this produce by EVA-DRY that uses gel beads which are renewable to capture moisture. I’m using the E-333 model Eva-dry E-333 Renewable dehumidifier, Pack of 1, White Sand (amazon.com) The unit is renewable because once the beads are saturated, they turn a green color and you can plug the entire unit into a 110V wall outlet to “recharge” or dry out. Pretty neat! They are small in size so I figured 2 or them in the van would be enough. They come with a small hook to hang them however I wanted to wall mount them. Luckily http://www.thingiverse.com had a bunch of different mounts for them. I choose one that is supposed to work in a cabinet however it was a little flimsy for van use so I modified it bit, printed it out and voila!
