The idea for the van was an RV sort of vehicle to travel out West in with our 2 kids. Thinking about safety, we wanted to keep 2 of the passenger seats in tact in order for them to have proper belted seats while driving around. We decided on a convertible bench/bed configuration with wet bath (shower + porta potty toilet), 12v fridge, kitchen/galley with kitchen sink, hot water via 120v hot water tank and 30 gal. fresh water tank. We also wanted as much storage as possible so we decided to install 5 sets of upper cabinets.
