Update from the previous post… Rear Door Ladder Cargo Carrier
Just about finished this project using a Valkyrie Cargo box and some Wheeliams UK ladder and cargo carrier goodies.
I need to make some adjustments but I’m happy with it. Very happy particularly because I didn’t have spend mad money on it. Some of these cargo systems for $2k+!!!!
I added some pins so the box can also swing outward so the ladder can still be accessed.
Box is 37 lbs empty and I’m not looking to weight it down much just with random items like hoses, cords, etc.
Added a 3D printed support to help stabilize the entire setup. 3D printed in TPU (flexible material) designed with slits for 2 large zip ties and used 3M VHB tape to adhere to van. Makes the entire setup super sturdy now!
Also added a swing out feature to the box so I can still climb the ladder!
